The Panama City Beach Convention and Visitors Bureau planned a landmark blowout for the 2011 holiday season. The Bureau asked Integrated Visions Productions to create two site-specific holiday-themed videomapped projections to compliment their holiday spectacular at and around the Shipwreck Island theme park and City Pier. The IVP animation team developed custom 3D animations for each setting.

At the first show, projected onto the 18 story Sterling Reef condominium, IVP staff tiled together four 35,000 lumens HD Christie Roadster projectors to display 'Santavision,' a 'new technology' that allowed Santa to beam a message direct to the people of Panama City Beach. Santa also introduced the talking dolphins, Flip, Flop, and Snowflake, who invited viewers to the County Pier, to view "Christmas Under the Sea," the second videomapped piece in this holiday show.

A 5 minute walk from the Santa's Village parking lot, the "Christmas Under the Sea" projections at the County Pier were designed to be viewed while looking down from either side of the pier. The content gives the illusion that you are looking through the surface of the ocean into the living room of a dolphin family celebrating the Christmas holiday. A total of 6 projectors were used to create two 75' x 20' projection surfaces on the sand below the pier.

Over 5,000 people attended Panama City Beach's Fun for the Holiday kickoff event on November 18 and Integrated Visions Productions' videomapped animations were on view Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays November 25th through December 30th.
